very nice
Good dbls tennis, nice editing!
what is the age of these guys
I’m turning 60 in a week and have thought about getting back on the tennis court. I used to play college tennis but haven’t played in decades. I certainly remember the hard work it took to stay at a good level. Glad to see such a nice level of play from these guys…really inspiring.
Why do players 65 and older tend to use the slice so so much more than all other players?
The good part about group drills is that they are similar in level.
Brian taking it easy on him....not going for winners
that’s tennis
What an amazing game for both players at age 60! Mark is playing very consistant overall with various tactics and skills. Eric is good too with powerful serve for either first or second. Thanks for sharing.
I love using SwingVision I’m so glad I purchased it recently
Playing college tennis at the age of 21 and already feeling pains and going through some injuries already in my career I just pray to be half as good as these guys when I turn this age. It’s truly inspirational 🥹
Love how Jimmy crowds the service line during David's serves.
Great tennis. Watch how they move when they aren't hitting the ball. They move in whenever they get a good deep shot and put pressure on their opponents. I play in singles and doubles competitive leagues. I played on 4.5 level and A1 level teams which are pretty high but now at 67, I am on a mid-B team (around 3.5 to 4.0). At my current level, I see so many players just standing around even after their partner hits a good deep groundstroke or gets a deep lob over the opponents. When these seniors get a deep ball, you see them both move into the net and they are ready to attack BEFORE their opponent hits the ball. My teammates stand with their feet stuck to the ground and watch their good shots and then react to the opponents shot. It drives me nuts to see people just standing there in doubles. Put this video in slo-mo, turn the sound down and watch a few points. These guys are always shifting to either attack or defend. Lesson to be learned here.
Wheres the over 70 ladies tennis? cant find any on yt at all! im over 70 and i run a team weekly, plus play 3x a week at 3.5 level consistently and can hit some 4.0 shots also.
Inspiring tennis. Thank you for posting!
great match Guys really can play
Yeah, and it's even slowed down on video. If you are on the court with one of these guys, it can be a little humbling.
Silky skills from both players, interesting to see how they craft the points. These guys would have learned with wooden racquets (like me) which explains their technique. In twenty years time, the 70+ technique will be quite modern.
Thanks so much for recording this match! These two styles and the two players are really fun to watch. Also SwingVision is great part of the match has to do with what they do between points how they move how they spend their time and I found that to be interesting also.
age group?
Title says 75+
Inspiring! Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
No disrespect, I hope I will be this mobile when I'm 80, but this does not look like 4.5 level play.
excellent match by two great guys thank you for uploading
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it.
Impressive movement and touch, plus some amazing highlights, getting to shots that seemed impossible. Hoping I can make it to that age and still be competitive
Love the footwork and intensity, also swing vision is a great app to facilitate recording
Is there a dress code to wear white?
Nah, maybe it's just habit, but there are still some clubs that insist on all white so if you are playing those tournaments you have to have the whole outfit anyway.
Great match by two of my favorite players! Legends. Thanks for posting Mike.
Yeah, I love to watch these guys!
Thanks very much for posting this. Enjoyable, and both are inspirational.
Yes, very inspirational!!
112 mph overhead at 13:30? Hmmm...
At this age, the best legs win.
Just won my first match in the 70+ men's event of the New Mexico Open in Albuquerque. Still have a few years before I hit 80 and wonder if I can still compete as well as these two guys. Pretty inspiring.
Oh yeah, I'm also inspired by these guys. And they are still enjoying themselves immensely.
Okay, these guys are amazing for their 80s. I'm embarrassed.
Parker used to clean Jimmy Connor's clock when Connors was a junior...
excellent upload of two beautiful players
Thanks! Hope to have many more.
They move really well for that age. My tennis group has 2 in that age group and a bunch in their 60s and 70s and one in their 50s. One of the guys here has the requisite knee brace. I think that everyone that's played into this age range has worn one at one time or another. These guys are very efficient with their strokes too.
That second point!!
❤ Incredibly inspiring!!!!! How they place the balls and makes opponent runs is incredible!!!!!
Great stuff. Loving Dollins serve.
incredible
Do you know their exact ages?
Aint no game like old man game. And also on some points I swear they are trying to kill each other…
When I was 17 I use to hit with Bill Farmer and he was the #1 70s singles player in the United States. He was an amazing player and a great man. I learned a lot from him and I miss him, he was a great ambassador to the game of tennis.
Nice memory, thanks for sharing that.
The slow motions are not necessary and rather annoying.
Understood. I'll put them at the end of the video for people who might be interested. Thanks for the comment.
Dang….what are the size of those racket heads?
~170...
Parker uses an Asics 116 if I'm not mistaken.
These guys are incredible.
Love where he keeps his towel.
Great stuff! thanks for posting.
My pleasure!
Thanks so much for posting. Was wondering how Dave got the best of Jimmie. Looks like amazing movement.
No problem! There are very few times you'll catch Parker "off his game", if that's what it was. His opponent was extra tough this day.
Very inspiring. I will be in this age group in 20 years. I hope I can still play and run around a little.
You can do it!
These gentlemen have pretty good placement for their age.
Mark Vines what would a 6.5 UTR be in USTA?
